Introduction to Picnic4Fun.com

Welcome to our website! Whether you’ve shopped with us before or are a brand new customer we aim to make your shopping experience pleasurable and simple.

We have a host of features to help you find and buy what you want quickly and easily.

Placing your first order

1.Find the item/s you want

First you will need to browse or search for the item/s you would like to order.
You can find the product you want quickly by searching by product category, these options are displayed down the left hand side of the page. When you find an item that interests you, click the item to see its product detail page. Here you will find more information about the item, including availability details.
If you are looking for a particular item you can use the "Advanced Search" option simply type in the item you require.

2. Add the items to your shopping basket

If you decide to order an item from Picnics4Fun.com, enter the quantity you require and click the 'Add to Basket' button. Once you've added an item to your Basket, use the 'Continue shopping' button to keep searching or browsing until your basket contains all of the items you want to order. You can check the contents of your Basket at any time by clicking on the "My Basket" icon at the top of every page of our website.

3. Proceed to checkout

Take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your Basket, deleting any items that you don't wish to buy. When you're ready to place an order click the "checkout" button. You will be taken to the first page of the order process.

The instructions below outline each step of our on-line order form.

4 Sign in/ or order without setting up an account - step 1

You now have the option of either ordering with or without setting up an account. When setting up an account you will be asked to enter a password so that if you shop with Picnics4Fun.com in the future you don't need to re-enter your details. We can also send you details of new products, special offers or competitions. (Changes to your details can be made by accessing "My Account")

To set up an account - enter your email address, choose a password for your account, and click the 'Sign in' button. (Bear in mind that the email address you provide here will be the only email address to which we can send information)

5. Enter a delivery address step 2 or step 2 if not creating an account

Tell us where you would like to have your order delivered.

The delivery charge for your order will be displayed on step 2.

6. Provide payment information step 3

Select a method of payment. We accept all major credit cards, cheques and gift certificates. All orders must be prepaid, but remember payment will not be taken until we are ready to despatch the item.

7. Confirm & submit your order Agree to Terms and Conditions step 4

Check the order details and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the tick the box to say you agree to our terms and conditions then click on "Submit Order" We will send you a confirmation email message, and another when your order has been despatched.

Payment Options

How do I pay for my order?

We won't ask you for any payment until we've made sure that all the goods in your shopping basket have been processed. Please note that for Custom made or Corporate orders, payment is taken once you click the "place order" button. And to make sure you always have the highest level of security, your payment details are automatically encrypted when you enter them. You can pay for your on-line order using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Delta, or Maestro/Switch cards.

Please note we don't accept Visa Electron for on-line or telephone orders. Cash payments are only accepted when Items are collected in person.

What about VAT?

What is ‘My Account’?

When you register with us, your information is stored in ‘My Account’. From there you can amend your personal details i.e. if you move house and need to change your delivery address. You can set up delivery addresses for your friends and family so you only need to type them in once and you can change your password.
You can also check the status of an order, look up old orders for repeat purchases, sign up for newsletters and improve your recommendations.

How do I update my personal information?

Sign in to ‘My Account’ to access and amend your personal details.

Do I need to register to shop on-line?

You can browse our website without needing to register. If you'd like to shop on-line then you can either register first, or an account will be automatically created for you as you place your first order.

When you register we will set up ‘My Account’. You will need to enter an email address and choose a unique password; these will allow you, and only you, to access your personal details.

Once you've registered with us, you only need to ‘Sign in’ next time you shop to use your saved personal details.

If you have shopped on-line at Picnics4Fun.com before

‘My Account’ is the equivalent of ‘Your File’ if you have previously shopped with us. The first time you sign in to ‘My Account’, you’ll notice any personal information you’d previously saved in ‘Your File’ will have been moved into ‘My Account’. The exception to this is your credit card details – due to security reasons, you will have to re-enter these should you wish to place another order with us. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause, but the security of your information is of utmost importance.

If you want to refer to any orders that you placed before the launch of our new website, please go to the 'My Order' drop down box in 'My account', where you can view your complete order history sorted by year.

What if I forget my password?

Don't worry! From the 'My Account' sign in page, click the 'I've forgotten my password' link and enter your email address. We'll then send you a new password. Once you've got your new password, enter it on the sign in page and from 'My Account' you can change the password to one you'll easily remember.

How do I log out completely?

If you use a shared or public computer to shop at Picnics4Fun.com, you should log out (also called "log off" or "sign out") when you've finished to prevent other users from accessing personal information, such as your 1-Click settings.

To log out, click the "Sign out" link next to the welcome message in the top right hand corner. Your personal information is removed from the computer. If you click the Welcome tab again, you'll see the greeting is no longer personalised.

Can I cancel my order?

If you order over the phone or on-line you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods (with the exception of Custom, Made to Order items and Corporate Items). Where goods are delivered to a third party (e.g. through our Gift Registry service) you will only be able to exercise this right if you are able to return to us the goods you ordered at your cost in a resalable condition.

Custom, Corporate or Made to Order Items

As Custom, Corporate or Made to Order Items are made specifically for you, once payment is taken, no changes to the order or any cancellation can be made, except in accordance with your legal rights.

Are my personal details secure?

We utilise the latest in Secure Server Technology to ensure that all personal and transactional information is protected to the highest standards. We never make your personal details available to companies outside the Picnics4Fun for marketing purposes, although our representatives may hold your data so that your details and/or order can be processed and/or account maintained.

How do I manage the emails I receive?

We'd like all our customers to receive the information they need to make their on-line shopping experience successful. As a customer we’ll automatically send you emails confirming your order, its despatch and any changes you might make to your personal details. We’ll also contact you in the unlikely event that there’s a problem with the payment or delivery of your order.

In addition, we can keep you up-to-date with special offers and products we think you'll like. If you want to subscribe to our regular email newsletters, just click the 'Email newsletter' link on most pages or the newsletters link in 'My Account'.

If you no longer want to receive emails from us, you can click the link at the bottom of the emails we send you to remove your address from our list.

Safety and Security Tips

Can I Track My Order

If you have been issued with a tracking or delivery confirmation number, you can track your package by clicking the link provided in My Account'. The delivery service and carrier for your package will be listed in 'My Account' and in your despatch confirmation email.

Delivery Services & Charges

Due to the location of some delivery addresses the following postcodes and postal area's are subject to a delivery surcharge. Even if you receive a free delivery promotion, surcharges will be an additional cost to the free delivery service. Unfortunately the additional charges are passed on to us from our delivery company.

What happens if I'm out when you deliver?

Most deliveries need to be signed for. When your order is ready to be dispatched Picnics4Fun will email you. Your delivery will not happen until you’ve been notified." Please Note" Picnics4Fun {a K&G Trading Ltd Company} courier service will attempt delivery of your goods twice. If delivery has been unsuccessful after the first attempt our home delivery courier service will attempt delivery a second time, if at this point delivery is still unsuccessful your goods will be taken to the courier's depot where they will be held for a period of 5 days re-delivery can be arranged by the customer if collection is not an option. Unfortunately the courier company may request  - the Customer pay a small charge for this service. If delivery has been unsuccessful and no attempt has been made to collect, i.e. If Picnics4Fun have been unable to deliver your parcel to the address provided and YOU- the Customer have failed to arrange redelivery or collect within the 5 day holding period your parcel will be returned to : Picnics4Fun were a full refund (minus shipping costs) will be offered. If a request is made to have the parcel redelivered this will incur additional shipping costs.

Please be available to receive your parcels. In all cases a signature on receipt will be required

 Royal Mail will take your parcel to the local sorting office and leave a card at your address explaining what to do next.

Returns & Refunds

What is your returns policy?

As soon as you realise that you need to cancel or return your orderplease call Customer care on : 0844-8849867(local rate) and one of our advisor's will help you. You can be confident that you can return or exchange the item within 30 days of receipt. All returned items to Picnics4Fun must be in new unused condition and packaged in the original manufacturer's box. All of the products parts, accessories, registration cards, etc must be returned for full credit. **Important note** The Original Shipping is Non-Refundable even if you received Free shipping promotion, you will be charged the actual shipping charges that we incurred to ship the product to you .We do not charge postage for any exchange items being sent out to you.

How to Return a Product

In the unlikely event you are required to return a product to Picnics4Fun follow these instructions:

  1. Contact us to receive a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number. A return shipping address will be given to you at this time. An RMA is required to process a return. Returns without authorisation are subject to refusal!
  2. Carefully repackage the product in the manufacturer's original packaging, making sure to include all parts and paperwork. You may be required to place the manufacturer's box in a sturdier, shipping quality box. You will be charged a replacement fee for missing items or no credit will be given if manufacturer cannot supply replacement parts.
  3. Return the product via Business Post, Parcel Force, Royal Mail or another insured shipping provider. It is recommended that you insure the package as Picnics4Fun is not responsible for loss or damage to merchandise that is being returned. Please insure the package for your purchase price. In the rare case that we receive a return and it has been damaged during shipment from you to us; we will notify you immediately so that you can file a claim with the shipping company. We do not charge postage for any exchange items being sent out to you.
  4. **Important Note** The Original Shipping is Non-Refundable even if you received a Free shipping promotion, you will be charged the actual shipping charges that we incurred to ship the product to you. We do not charge postage for any exchange items being sent out to you.
  5. Place a shipping label on the box and return the product to the address given to you when you received your RMA number. Please remember to include your RMA number on the shipping label. Do not write directly on the manufacturer's box- please use a shipping label so that the box may be reused. A box replacement charge may apply if the box is written upon.
  6. The Return Materials Authorisation (RMA) will expire 10 business days from the date that it was issued.
  7. After we inspect your return, we will credit the purchase price back to the original credit card used for the purchase, minus the original shipping cost and box or replacement part fees that may apply. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the credit to appear on your statement. We will send you an email confirmation to notify you when we have applied the credit to your card.

Refunds may not be given if obvious signs of use such as missing paperwork, parts, missing packaging materials, smudges or other marks indicating use, etc.

Please note that custom items, built-to-order, and personalised items cannot be returned due to their uniqueness to your specific needs. The items listed with Special Order Instructions are not returnable under any circumstances. Please make sure you have read and understand the Special Order Instructions prior to placing your order, if you need further assistance please call Customer care on : 0844-8849867 (local rate) If you have any questions about returning a product, please contact us.

Gift Items

After you have received your gift, you can return any item to us for an exchange or refund as long as it is unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition within 30 days of receipt of your gift. Please note that Corporate, Custom Made or perishable goods cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded. Return the product via Business Post, Parcel Force, Royal Mail or another insured shipping provider. It is recommended that you insure the package as Picnics4Fun is not responsible for loss or damage to merchandise that is being returned. Please insure the package for your purchase price. In the rare case that we receive a return and it has been damaged during shipment from you to us; we will notify you immediately so that you can file a claim with the shipping company. The refund will be a credit voucher receipt (to be used within 12 months).

What are excluded from refunds?

Refunds will only be given in accordance with your legal rights. If your order is made specifically for you, once payment is taken, no changes to the order or any cancellation may be made. It is therefore very important that you check any Art work and special request for Corporate, Custom Made goods prior to payment.

Corporate Custom Made and Perishable Goods

As your goods are made specifically for you, once payment is taken, no changes to the order or any cancellation may be made, except in accordance with your legal rights. Additionally we will only accept returns in accordance with your legal rights; for example:

if there is a fault with your Item
if the Goods have not been manufactured as specified

If you are returning a Purchase due to a fault, or you believe it has not been made to the specification given by you, we will re-make to the correct specifications. Goods should be returned in the original packaging.

Gift Cards

Refunds on purchases of Gift Cards will only be given in accordance with your legal rights.

Can I exchange an item?

What are my rights under the Distance Selling Regulations?

If you are contracting with us as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your contract at any time within 7 working days of receipt of the goods you ordered. You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession and they must be returned to us (if possible, see individual product Returns Policies for details) or collection arrangements made, promptly at your cost. If we collect the item from you, you will be charged the cost of collection which we will notify you at the time of cancellation.

You must inform us of the cancellation of the contract.

This is not intended to be a full statement of all your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations,. Full details of your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations are available from your Local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or your Local Authority’s Trading Standards Office.

I am receiving an error message, what should I do?
If you see a page stating “Unfortunately an error has occurred“ do not worry, just continue to shop. If it occurs again click the refresh button on your browser window or go back to the Homepage. If you are still having problems, please contact us and provide as much detail as possible, including your operating system version and what browser you are using.

What if I forget my password?

Don't worry! From the 'My Account' sign in page, click the 'forgotten password' link, enter the password associated with your account and we will email you a link to change your password. If you do not have access to the email account associated with your account, please contact customer services.

What are Spoof/false emails?

Spoof or false emails are mails claiming to be from well-known companies which attempt to get the recipient to hand over sensitive information such as account, credit card or bank details. These emails attempt to copy the appearance of a popular website or company in order to commit identity fraud. We will never ask for a customer to confirm any account or credit card details via email. If you do receive an email claiming to be from Picnics4Fun.com asking you to do so, please ignore it and do not respond.

We will never, for any reason, ask you to send us the following information in an e-mail:

Your National Insurance Number or VAT registration number.
Your bank account information, credit card number, PIN number or credit card security code.
Your mother’s maiden name or other information that could be used to identify you (such as your birth city or your favourite pet’s name).
